Nayanthara promoted her beauty label on Sunday at a beauty carnival wearing a white tee with a faux-leather skirt, ankle-strap gold sandals and a whole lot of jewellery. The footwear particularly the straps looked loose on her but overall, she looked great!

What are those shoes, man? They’re so boring! She looks really cute. I think we are so used to a certain bodytype on fashion pages that Nayantara looks frumpy/stocky in comparison when she actually looks really nice.
Agreed! Most wear nothing, baring their entire silhouette or the most skin tight clothes.. so a woman in normal clothes appears stocky (to them!!!).

My comment wasn’t a commentary on women wearing sculped, sheer, or revealing clothes. You misunderstood. I meant that most folks here have washboard abs so those who don’t look frumpy in comparison.
Not a makeup expert but why do actresses really cake it on, even if it is for a beauty label. Takes away all natural charm.
It’s a fun a causal look but for the sandals. The straps of the sandals are cutting the length of the leg, if she was in pumps she would look nicer. Her third pic, therefore, is nicer.
