In Peter Dundas

Natasha attended the Met Gala on Monday wearing a custom Peter Dundas gown. While she wore her hair half up before leaving, by the time she attended the event, it seems like she changed her mind.

Her attempt at the theme was adding the maang tikka which I thought wasn’t enough. If she wanted to add an Indian element to it, I wish she’d picked a more ornate maatha patti and just owned it. What did you think?

  1. She had an ornate head-dress instead of this lame maang tikka in a picture while preparing for the red carpet which would have turned the volume up instantly on this look. Perhaps they got cold feet. As it is, nothing much remarkable.

  2. The dress didn’t need indian accessories. She couldn’t opted the wacky stuff otherwise seen on her at Diwali/reception/birthday party outings. She looks good and really could’ve upped it all by her sense of style. But safed it!

  3. She has actually dressed in theme back home! This is a safe look…it is not easy to experiment dramatically on a global red carpet. But she was there due to the money and could have gone all the way (as opposed to seeking roles or career advancements). That said, she looks very pretty and more reminiscent of jasmine from Aladin for some reason.

  4. Apart from Ranveer Singh, she was my hope for camping hard but alas, the need to look pretty over going hard on the theme took over

  5. Whatttttt I was most excited to see her take on the theme since she’s a great example of it back in India. She got cold feet damn. Where is tbe wacky, OTT Natasha that’s overdressed for every event she has ever been to!! And why did she wear a maang tikka it’s such a halfway effort.

  6. The first picture is either from a beauty pageant or one of those atrocious Say yes to the dress gowns where the bride wants 2 dresses in 1.
