Sari Style
Natasha attended a high-profile wedding over the weekend wearing a benarasi rangkat sari from Jigyam with a vintage cubist jacket from YSL Rive Gauche 1988 collection. The vintage sourcing should’ve tipped you off that this was styled by Rhea.
I am sure I am in the minority team that actually disliked this combination. Each of the pieces were absolutely gorgeous, especially that sari and it should’ve been the eye catching element of this outfit instead of the jacket. That is not to say the jacket isn’t interesting. It was just the wrong pairing for this sari. Also the crowding of the neckline was another turnoff. This combo of vintage western label + an Indian one wasn’t one that I thought worked.
Like what you see?

Agree with you 100 percent!
Hate the jacket covering some beautiful jewels and possibly a good saree. Natasha looks good in real pics.
I love this look ..the only thing I would take out is the neckpiece. Let that amazing jacket shine. She carries this very well.
That saree is so elegant it needed to be showcased appropriately. Not every place is a runway.
i like the ensemble, but think it’d have worked better in a western setting — as in, an oscars bash or a bulgari launch or similar.
I always love the comments from the paps… they keep it real! Vaccinewallah ??? they could not care less about who sourced what jacket from where!
a hot mess
The outfit looks much better in the actual photos where the jacket is not buttoned all the way down, But yes, overall a disservice to both beautiful pieces!
I actually like the jacket and necklace, but would have loved a more subtle saree.
However, the overall direction in terms of one, too many elements might have been Natasha’s direction versus Rheas as the style seams very Natasha.
she looks great! she usually keeps her looks interesting, is not afraid to experiment – statement pieces are her signature look.
i would wear this combo in a heartbeat !
The addition of the jacket makes everything too busy and confusing
Would have loved to see each of these pieces separately, getting their deserved outing. This, as is, is just wear-everything-expensive-you-own-or-can-afford contest.
I don’t know man! Nobody wears anything to ‘show off the neck of the blouse’, or ‘show off the pallu’. You wear something because it makes you feel good that way. Sometimes you might crowd something and other times you might go minimalistic.
The question to me is not whether each piece got their justice but whether she pulled it off, and I think she did it quite well.
The look is disjointed, maximal and messy. the combo has ruined three good separate looks imo. Money does not buy class, it does buy all those things she is wearing.
evrything is vying for attention .. getting none.. She shouldve made the jacket OR the sari OR the neckpiece the main character…
