In Gucci

Natasha attended the Poonawalla race on Sunday evening wearing a Gucci floral coat with a white tee and black pants and of course, a whimsical fascinator. One to mostly wear dresses or skirts to the races, I quite liked this change of pace.

    • I can never understand the concept of wearing fancy hats to the race. I mean why ? Does it have to be necessary/compulsory?

But aside of that love what Natasha is wearing

      • Keeping up the old world tradition of hats and eyewear in open spaces against sun and glare. It’s always been so. But yeah hats have become obsolete giving way to head gears =p

  1. Actually, I think a dress would have looked much better with that fascinator and coat. But yeah, it’s nice to see her look a little more relaxed for a change.

  2. The fascinator is just too pink for the outfit. Wondering how well is she able to see with the sunglasses and then the fascinator in front of her eyes.

  3. I couldn’t get past the creepy sharp manicured talons especially as it looks like she is holding hands with a little child. When fashion is in a fierce zone that could actually be hazardous! Couldn’t get past that to the rest 🙁

  4. For me Ms.Poonawala is one of the very few ladies (if not the only one on these pages) who can really carry off “gimmicky” looks. I’ve come to expect and look forward to her appearances. While there’s no doubt that she’s looking good here, I find myself wishing that she’d used this opportunity to go all out with her style. This look was better reserved for an airport or something casual.

  5. The material of that white tee looks cheap. Don’t know if it Only appears like that in the pictures. Otherwise it’s a surprise simple look from her!!

  6. Are you kidding. The outfit just looks randomly thrown together . The casual white T looks so outta place . And fascinator is plain funny

  7. Im trying to imagine this lotus pink hat with a subtle sage green dress , may be just net dress from brands like needle and thread. such a lost opportunity for this beautiful hat who might not see another outing.

      • Yeah, I was. Not just because I was also a part of it (I was) and you are right in the sense that it veered too far from fashion.
But don’t make the comments section just full of positive comments / biased one way or another. Every blog I ever liked now has a comments section that fawns and oohs and aahs in accordance with the tone of the post with an almost militant policy of removing controversial posts. I LOVE the comments here that sometimes travel all over into different things and feel authentic (if sometimes politically/socially incorrect).
It hasn’t happened yet, and I don’t want it to 🙂

  8. OK, so Natasha P. wears extreme outfits. So what?
The issue is whether it comes together.
    Not a creative look.
    Too many things going on
The inside outfit is not at all fascinator compatible or vice-versa
The fascinator alone with a green outfit with no patterns would have gone
The jacket could have been a dress, and she could have worn a small cap if she wanted head gear
The fascinator is pretty, but pretty impractical. There’s major tripping hazard
Those sunglasses do not work with the fascinator. A cat eye sunglasses in lavender, pink, or spring green would work better
The clutch, the shoes, all an inglorious mismatch.
The pretense of being untraditional has gone too far.

    • Doesn’t matter every piece she’s wearing and her usual ‘looks’.. fact is she’s seen wearing such relaxed clothes for like first ever time, n yet it’s turned out so neat and just right for the derby. I don’t remember ever seeing her in a t shirt and pants.
