What a difference an outfit can make! Natasha Poonawala looks absolutely adorable and chic in her outfit on the left.

  1. As I commented earlier in the Natasha/Avanti post, Natasha is almost always very well put-together. The outfit on the left is perfect, except for the necklace. (The part over her bust totally gets lost in the pic, and got lost in real life. The loop that’s tight around her neck looks nice.) I think we can forgive her occasional messes like the yellow disaster. 🙂

ps: What is the dress in the left pic? I swear I’ve seen it recently, but I’m blanking out.

  3. i am sick of seeing all these random people on the site.. my eyes longs for someone famous for something substantial..i feel like i am standing outside a friday night joint with a binocular and critiquing normal auntyjis/girlies/randomer’s outfits… not fun at all

  5. The dress on the right is a Versace. If anyone watches America’s Next Top Model, it’s the same dress that Whitney walked the runway in for the finale of cycle 10. Except that dress was in pink, and IMO looked a lot better.

  6. nik, both Avanti and Natasha are not random people. If you live in Bombay, you will know….yes they have married into money, but lets face it, they are the ones that keep the design industry and the luxury market running – have always done so…socialites purchase power can make or break a designer…

  7. Adit- you guessed right, i don’t live in Bombay so i don’t know who they are and neither am i “pals” with them.. so to me they are random people..

and i don’t care about the economics of the whole industry, sry2say.. i just feel like a weirdo commenting about random non celebs’ fashion sense..that is all..

  8. The bright yellow dress put her in a bind because it was too revealing but that scarf was not the answer! It looks totally out of place. A light, delicate shawl maybe made of georgette and draped across her shoulders would have saved the day. Preferrably in the same tone.
