In Tarun Tahiliani

Ms. Shirodkar picked a Tarun Tahiliani suit for a recent appearance. Given the event, a subdued suit was the way to go but it’s got to be said, Namrata consistently underwhelms. With access to the best that the designer has to offer, she like his certain other muse (coughMehrcough) is yet to just hit it straight out of the park.

  2. she probably has access to the best of designers… she is married to one of the SUPER STARS of Telugu movie industry and yet she shows up at most of the events as she just stepped out after mopping the house.

  3. I think that Namrata looks pretty but has so much more potential. Both Mehr and her are going the minimal make up look, which I think is great, but a dash of kajal/eyeliner would do wonders to their looks, especially when you take the pain to put on a ‘designer’ outfit. The minimal look is fine for jeans and a t-shirt.

  5. Nice suit..pity the dupatta is covering the front like that..sorry but she has bad hair, hardly fresh faced? She looks super tired with no make up at all

  6. Well she is only a star wife now and wants to keep a low profile, so its OK, she looks sweet. Not all women need to look like they are auditioning for HHC, no?

  7. Lol the lady in question looks okay.
What I need to ask though, is who is she standing with, and who is she trying to be? Nefertiti? Cleopatra? Was it a costume party that ms. Shirodkar didn’t dress up for? If so, boo.

  8. I think she looks lovely the way she is. Dupatta stiched to the anarkali is so unique – why didnt someone think of that earlier ! Its event appropriate and more importantly, she has a certain serenity to her… A bit like AR Rahman’s wife – she can be drowning in fabric but you can never complain – its just suits her.

  9. She looks like an Indianized Monalisa. And that ain’t a compliment. She does not have to dress up. But brushing your hair and showing up a little neat doesn’t hurt. Jeez!
