We spotted Namrata Shirodkar in a Pria Kataria Puri jewel-print kaftan at Sneha Reddy and Allu Arjun’s sangeet. We think Namrata looked lovely but do wish she dressed a tad more festive keeping the occasion in mind. On an aside, we can’t wait to get our hands on one of these kaftans. :p

Frankly, hate the look! It’s as if she is trying to tell the world she doesn’t have to dress up …. it’s almost like insulting the wedding!! For all her beauty, Namrata could have done a little more justice to it.
Right! Priety looked “tired” in her previous appearance on the site, but Namrata here looks ‘lovely’. And the pairing of the kaftan with those heels and the wide leg trousers, especially for a sangeet, is perfectly ‘lovely’ too, I guess? Biased much, ladies? I miss the more objective and unbiased P&P whose blog I started reading ages ago. Disappointed.

And these Pria Kataria Puri jewel prints are utterly uninspired and incredibly tacky – can not believe how popular they are among the Bollywood crowd…oh wait, I can.

While I love the kaftan, I am not sure most women can pull off the shape. I would want a more regularly shaped kaftan in the same fabric.
