Mouni tied the knot with Suraj Nambiar in Goa on Thursday with the two having two ceremonies, a morning one with Malayali rituals and an evening one with Bengali ones.

Congratulations to the newly weds.

The bride is wearing a Sabyasachi lehenga.

  1. Congrats. Saw pics on Instagram first and thought lehenga is by Anuradha Vakil. Looked very similar to the one worn by Sonam Kapoor on her wedding.

  2. Gorgeous in both. But very disappointed in the bottom pleats in the white saree. They are just off and make the bottom half look messy. They both look really good though. Congrats to them.

  3. Lehenga looks nice but very similar to Sonams and even Katrina’s with the gold fringe on the dupatta.
Saree looks strictly ok and pleats look off. Overall looks very filmy.

  4. I liked her lehenga look more. Being a Malayali, I have witnessed much better draping, sarees, and jewelry on the regular Kerala brides. The draping of the lower part of the saree and the mundu of the groom are both off. But then who cares. It’s their wedding and they look so much in love. Wishing they stay that way forever and ever. All the best to the couple.

  5. Malyali wedding look is my favourite, something is wrong with her draping for sari and her dupatta for lehenga is not properly neatly drape. Looks like she and her friends just tucked it for her.

  6. White saree is a mess. The pleats are wayyy off and messy.Looks like a readymade one which you just wear. You dont need to drape/pleat it. A little more effort could have gone into getting a better looking one or having it draped the normal way considering it was her wedding. It’s as if she’s wearing a saree for the first time in her life and so got it wrong.
