Dressed Up
Till date, we haven’t quite seen Monica dressed up. All appearances for Dhobi Ghat were rather dressed down and who knows maybe they were asked to?
At the Radio Mirchi Music Awards, we saw a more glam avatar (relatively) and I, for one, adored her boho look in the yellow printed bolero (which I’m in lust with!) over the LBD. Cherry on top were the yellow sandals.
Monica is wearing Nine West Desine Sandals. Thanks ‘padma’ for the spotting!
Update: The shrug is a Nor Black Nor White. Thanks ‘SJ’.

Is topping my lust list !!!! 🙂
Love it! She wears this look so well!
Loved her in the film too, she looked absolutely stunning!
I only know her from the photo’s on this site. But I love her.
Wow – This is the best thing you’ve shown her wearing, and it is sooo cute, especially that little jacket. I really liked her in the film, but this has way more style than her character’s look.
lurvvv
Can you please tell us where we can find a jacket/top like she’s wearing? So beautiful..
Super! Loved her effortless casual looks in the movie too…. and yes, she’s got talent!
wow she loooks amazing love the colors….stunning.
just one question where can we get that jacket??
Whimsical, cute, bohochic and she carries it off well!
i like thsi girl..she’s boho and spunky and sooo talented!
I agree, I loved Dhobi Ghat, I love her Monica’s music and she is adorable in all her interviews.
This appearance is so fab, because she seems to have a distinct personality of her own and that comes through in her clothes, which is VERY rare amongst the mostly vacant, pouty Bollywood actresses.
Hopefully we have more debutantes like her and Kalki and less of the same empty-headed I’ve-never-had-a-boyfriend-and-I’m-in-total-awe-of-my-costar-who-is-old-enough-to-be-my-father type whose idea of acting is three stock expressions and an inordinate amount of giggling.
loved her in the movie..and loving her here..all the piece settle so well together..
YES YES! we need more this please bOLLYWOOD!
LOVE this look!
The jacket’s made from traditional Mashru fabric – local to Gujarat – must say it’s the first time I’ve seen this fabric in such a trendy avataar. super pick!
This is SUCH an amazing look! I WANT that bolero!
monica looks awesome! i love the bolero. it’s so cute.
want this bolero…….:P
Love, love, love. Want that bolero now!!
I agree with u Payal…love this printed bolero. And I loved this girl in the movie too, even though her character was a bit desperate
omg, LOVE the bolero and pairing it with the black dress and the shoes…she has so much individuality and spunk..
Luurrve the jacket! Me wants it too…. 🙁
nice, very nice jacket!
The jacket is a vintage mushru jacket designed by duo NOR BLACK NOR WHITE
