While out and about in Mumbai, Mira was photographed in a matching set by Yam. Easy flats and a Louis Vuitton bag were among her accessories of choice that day. Not much to fault here, the casual look works!
Whose shower curtain looks like this?! Come on, this is a really nice print in subtle colours, which makes it work. Imagine Garden Vareli sarees… now did those look like any kind of curtain?! Let’s not box ourselves into how a certain print should look like, what constitutes upholstery print, etc. Let us all express our thoughts freeflowingly!
That said, I do like it all here; the print, the minimal styling, and the cut of the kurta. Seems very apt to the weather in Bombay!
All those commenting on silhouette, as a Pakistani, we love this because it doesnt cling to our body so comfy in summers and modest as per our religious and cultural norms.
Not Pakistani, but I love this silhouette too. I have quite a few cotton, khadi and mul sets in this style for the summer. And I love not having to bother with a dupatta.
Mira?
that’s a really awkwardly cut kurta.
Yami or Mira?
This is Mira
And that Kurta balloons in a weird way. Not flattering.
oh wow. she looks great. these kind of separates are in trend in Pakistan since a couple of years.
Haha.. how can this comment get downvotes?!
Does downvote here mean you disagree with the opinion of the poster? Or does it mean you don’t like the comment in itself?
Oh man…looks like the downvotes have really affected you quite badly. This is the third time I’m coming across your comment on downvotes đŸ™‚
Haha, I know. We can get mad/displeased at just about anything.
It’s just ok. The silhouette is unflattering.
Umm.. okay. Casul doesn’t have to mean this shape.
Another designer upholstery outfit, this looks like it was cut from a shower curtain

I used to have shower curtain like this. Until I improved my taste.
Legit question – Is kurta pajama now called “matching set” in the haloed fashion circles ?
P&P call it a ‘matching set’
On Yams website they sell it as ‘kurta set’
Hahaha! True words.
Small question, isn’t this a kurta and salvar?

It’s a pillowcase with sleeves.
