In Sabyasachi

I saw Anupama Chopra post this gown on her Instagram account with Melita (the gown was on a hanger). Was waiting to see the translation on the red carpet and it does not disappoint. She nailed it by keeping things simple with the teardrop emerald earrings. Also love the belt accent (which is a part of the gown)
Not related but would love to see more non-movie promotion related fashion coverage. Example: Sonam at MK store in London etc.
She looks fab. For a second, I thought her hair is in a short pixie cut and now I can’t stop wishing it were really that!
Bolly ladies can now sit down and take notes on how to do hair with a Sabyasachi outfit.
But this is a gown ..not a Sabya sari
Which is why I said “outfit” 🙂
I’ll-fitting at the bust. The hair and make up don’t do this outfit any justice. And I don’t mean she had to do a bun like Deepika. Looking for some middle ground with sabya
Cant belive this simple yet elegant outfit came from Sabya!
The hair is too structured to the point of almost architectural. It’s looking like a square block.
This gown needed a vintage choker. Maybe a headpiece with a net.
Too stark.
Agreed. Needed something on the top. And a chokers a better idea than embellishment on the dress.
Without any of that it’s looking like she is in the dressing room and is waiting for someone to get her the top.
I thought the gown was underwhelming…at least as photographed here.
True.. there’s nothing about it despite being from an extravagant label.
Amazing Dress!
That’s such a pretty gown! I love that belt.
Its amazing to see that she is not in a severe middle parted hairdo.
Its great to see Indian designers at international carpet these days. It may be at Cannes or Met Gala.
She looks spot on – elegant, refined, modern. The white stands out on the carpet and the spring colours in the embroidery keep it fresh. Minimal silhouette. A 10/10 look.
The hem! It’s not finished well
Looks really poorly made. The eyes go straight to the hem- which looks like a bad finishing job
Very poor fitting.
At first glance, it looks beautiful. But the more i look at it, the bodice is ill fitting, her girls seem a little crushed, the hem is not done well maybe a tad higher… to me execution seems off.
