Herve Leger might have started it all but it didn’t take long for everyone from Bebe to French Connection to get on the wagon and offer a cheaper alternative to the now signature bandage dress from the house of Leger… Speaking of which, spotted designer Masaba in a French Connection Ribbon Dress and it’s got to be said, she wore it rather well. We love the color and the way it fits her. The fact that she kept everything else minimal earns her extra points.

Masaba has great indo afro looks and she can wear western outfits as well as indian outfits with great ease; i personally think metisse people can pull off any outfit perfectly. That’s the + point they have.
Oh no. Her body shape is totally wrong for this dress. She has a “Priyanka” body, masculine/broad shoulders and no hips. She should have worn something which gave the illusion of hips, such as a tulip skirt/dress. Nice colour though.
I actually think everything about this look…the dress, hair, shoes, light makeup, no accessory!!! Her body type perfectly suits this dress..she fills it so well…and she has a graceful look…just wonder how this dress would turn up on someone like Amisha Patel. Now that should make you appreciate this women.
on an aside…of what little I see of the bag, is that a Chanel?? its longer than most of their chain bag models
Oh, and those sandals are awful.. Nude pumps would have worked better, OR, some colour on her toenails.

Actually Azzedine Alaia wa the person who originally designed the bandage dress. Herve Leger was an apprentice with Alaia, and he then copied the bandage dress when he started his own company, making it his signature. Now everyone has jumped on the bandwagon, but the truly stunning ones were Alaia’s originals.
she is quite young(must be hardly out of her teens or something) and i wish she had dressed up accordingly. theere is whole life ahead to wear dress like these.

the sandels just reiun the whole look but i love the dress
she’s got a great body, however, i don’t think it’s the right type for this particular style of dress. plus she should stick with something younger looking. as someone else already mentioned, she’s got years ahead to wear this sort of thing.

Umm.. I could forgive her with the dress. She looks unique because of her mixed ethnicity which is the only +point all the time hence she makes whatever she wears, look different.
Don’t like her shoes very much here but the dress is ok on her. I think her signature is her hair. Nice and curly.
