Mallika made her second appearance on the Cannes red carpet wearing a pleated Emilio Pucci gown. Just about all of the pics captured at this event had her flouncing around making it hard to evaluate how the gown really looked on her.
It wasn’t until she attended the amfAR gala that there was one pic of her with no movement. Thank heavens. While the soft feminine gown looked nice on her, the look as a whole wasn’t so great. The black pumps were a big eye sore as was the hair do. Weighed down the look a lot!

Haha I liked how you used the word ‘flouncing’. I like the gown but I agree it could have been worn better. She actually looks alright in the first picture where she is standing still..
The jewellery is SO tacky! Makes it look like she is going to a strip club after the red carpet!
The black shoes are the biggest fashion-faux pas ever! They should ban her from Cannes just for this one appearance!

Exactly my point as well.. the jewelry looks like its bought from some roadside vendor.
Just wear strappy heels, an soft bun updo and gloss nude lips .. you would have been a winner!
Red lips and black pumps against the white .. too gimmicky — wanna-bee-ish!
The Pucci gown itself is pretty okay. But why is she prancing and twirling on the red carpet? Add to that the garish jewellery, that make-up (what is up with her lipliner?) and I cannot stand those pumps AT ALL. Ok, rant over. Sorry, she just gets me all riled up.

Dress is nothing great, makeup is garish, shoes a disaster with that dress. Needs to study Mrs Bachan’s red carpet style and learn!

step three: wear clunky black pumps
step four: never mind that gold would have been beautiful with this, just pour on the diamonds. because…hello! diamonds!

I reckon y’all have something against her! She looks really nice (for once)! She has the skin tone to pull off that makeup. Agreed that the dancing around is a lil bit embarassing…but overall..looks good!
She really has potential..but, why does she keep doing this to herself gain & again..Tips :
1. Better makeup
2. Hair needs different styling
3. Get some HW diamonds, if you so feel the urge to flaunt diamonds
4. Less dancing on the RC..
