The pink salwar suit is so very similar to what Mallika Sherawat wore (https://www.highheelconfidential.com/shared/content/uploads/2020/12/Divya-Khosla-Kumar-Hansika-Motwani-And-Mallika-Sherawat-Photographed-In-Mumbai-1.jpg) in a previous HHC post, that got a “not my taste” comment. But here, it seems to be the preferred sighting.
I hope that the bias on who wears the outfit tapers down on this site (its bad enough that we, the blog followers do this), atleast the authors should try staying on a fairly objective mode just so the blog stays true to its essence of what it started out as..
The reason we didn’t like Mallika’s outfit was that skirt pairing. A straight-lined kurta like hers (to us) looks better with tailored pants (like Malavika here was wearing) or a voluminous skirt. Her skirt didn’t balance out the kurta well. And this is when we say “not my/our taste”, because someone else probably likes it that way. Hope that clarifies it.

I also think the fabric on Mallika’s one with the sheer hands and the neckline (design and fabric) make it very different? Also the glass work or sequins? I wound totally wear what Malavika is wearing but not what Mallika is wearing. If that makes sense.
Agree with this, Mallika’s suit might be the same colour combination, but the fabric, the work, the silhouette etc gives it a tad tacky look. Malavika’s on the other hand is like a breath of fresh air.
Yeah I guess. I also get your point in saying “my taste” in sort of a literal way, vs interpreting it as a sarcastic comment.
Malavika is really lovely, and has great hair.
Neither outfit is much to write home about, imo. She can do better.
Love the pink outfit, the romper look not so much.
