At an event, Malaika kept it relatively simple in a white kurta suit paired with sky high grey pumps and a brown Loewe Goya bag. Pumps with kurtas just look so very odd to me but I admit this is my mental block here. 😛

i thought the rule of elegance asks for open toed footwear with kurtas and sarees (unless its jutties with kurtas) and heeled pumps with pantsuits and skirts. I’m not a rule follower by any stretch, but stay close to this. jutties with sarees is a particular pet peeve!!
