In Saint Laurent
Malaika attended Christmas Eve mass wearing a black velvet Saint Laurent mini with t-strap sandals and a Chanel bag. Now that I have seen the model, part of me wishes Malaika had also worn the dress with tights to make it a more mature and polished look.
As is, it looks she is about to head to a club rather than a mass.

So inappropriate! Unless the priest is also dj-ing.
Bahahaha 😀
ha ha.. so funny.
Bahaha. She is always such a tack&trashfest.
Judging by the “mass” couture sported by Malaika, Kareena and Amrita, the church seems to be a fun place to be 🙂
+1
Who would have thunk?!
LOL!!
Melange – yes, who would have thunk ; ))
Seriously, imagine wearing these outfits in a Temple.
There is a rule now in place for Tamilnadu Temples, Women have to wear only Indian clothes (sari, half-sari or salwars covered by a duppatta) & for Men either Indian (Kurta or Dhoti) or formal pants-shirt to enter. Still men get to wear “western” lol
Yeah, I heard.
While I don’t know how I feel about putting a rule or ban on everything, this is honestly just a matter of common sense. They could have asked the youngest kid in their house to dress them up for church, and ended up better dressed 😛
There’s a time and place for everything. The dress is beautiful but not even appropriate.
Agree, that’s more of a club look!! So, inappropriate.
Well the Lord doesn’t love her less. But what the hey for the outfit for midnight mass!!
So inappropriate for Mass. Just one day of the year to wear something conservative and she couldn’t.
Ha ha. Looks like the sisters got a special memo for dress code. Merry xmas :))
Well if she doesn’t dress like this how on earth will Jesus know she has amazing legs?
Please cover up! Not being a prude here but do you always need to look like an item number. Classy girls know that sometimes it’s way more sexy to cover up than to bear it all.
Have always thought so ! I love my little dresses but I don’t exactly need them to look / feel good.
Her idea of sexy is very sleazy to me, which is really unfortunate.
With a little class she could be my favorite celebrity, I remember how poised she used to be when hosting Miss India, and other events.
Sleazy is the right term for her “style”. lol.
Maybe she was going to party after the mass 😛
She could have worn a jacket or a shawl to the church and removed it when she got to the party. These are photo op events for her and her friends
In a way she hasn’t dressed her part, but hey who is complaining. God has given her a blessed life!
Party or not after the mass, this is totally not appropriate . Absolutely in poor taste
She is looking super hot!
Its not because of the Mass (don’t want to do moral policing) but it just ticks off all the boxes – tight, yes, short – yes, revealing – yes, velvet – yes. It just ends up looking tacky.
I cringe at how inappropriate this is.
The way the model wears it, slightly longer with stockings and the white collar, the dress passes muster. Its a size too tight on Malaika. As for event- appropriate, c’mon these are Bollywood celebs, they are known to dress for their weddings at another’s wedding..so, they are actually under-dressed (no pun) for the occasion.
Tacky, whether for mass or for the club. It looks lovely on the model though.
This dress is just cringe worthy anyways..and don’t get me started on event appropriateness. We get it Malaika that you have a fab body, but don’t shove it in our faces every time you step out. There is no moral policing here folks…there are some things that needs to be done by the book. PERIOD!!
Not only celebrities but regular church going girls and women wear shorts dresses to church which are nothing less than this. And many women here must know that its a ‘thing’ to be well dressed at the church. If well dressed means short and fitted to some, then so be it.. I mean I don’t see anything wrong here..
I live outside India, in a relatively modern city. Some years ago, the Diocese here issued a stern warning to parishioners who turn up for mass in sloppy clothes (particularly shorts). I am surprised then that Indian churches would condone this. I have never seen anyone dress as disrespectfully as Ms Arora. If what you said about other church-goers’ dressing is true, I feel incredibly sorry.
This is not well dressed, this is simply under-dressed.
Tacky!!!
They all are probably gonna go clubbing after church or they are coming back from partying hard.
Even religious events have become publicity stunts for all these people – the most saddening thing is not that they’re dressed like this. The sad thing is that all these things that are sacred to people around the world are brought to this level. Walking into any place of worship dressed like this makes it more about showing off to media rather than being there for your faith.

Spot on, Farrah!
Thou shalt not be classy even when the occasion begs for it. (#1 commandment)
hahahaha
As a practicing Christian myself, who loves fashion I still have to say that everything has a place and time. A church is no place to look “sexy, stylish or gather attention”. That bare back does exactly that, but in an inappropriate way.
I would dare her to step into a temple or a mosque dressed like this. If you are afraid of hurting the sentiments of one sacred place, then why disrespect the others?
How inappropriate and comes off as plain silly and dumb.
No taste or sense whatsoever to make such choices to attend mass for “God”‘sake, literally!
Really that micromini dress or whatever that is for X’mas mass. Who would want to wear that, seriously!
