Wearing a sari from Jade, Malaika attended Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party. Talk about throwing us a curveball firstly by not wearing a Malhotra design and secondly, picking a full-sleeved blouse here. She looked good!

  1. I have never seen her so covered up! But I’d have liked a less monochromatic look- maybe a lighter colored blouse so I cud see the saree better.

    • Why can you not stop at appreciating her for this look? Why bring her down even in a positive comment? You will anyhow critique her when u don’t like her look.

  2. i actually dont think she looks very good. the black is a dull black, not doing anything for her. coupled with the subdued make-up, it’s taking her into overlookable territory.

  3. I don’t like full sleeves high neck blouses, she looks hell of classy here, in this case she could’ve chosen one of her strappy blouses to breath Some difference in a all lacy black look

  4. All black for Festival of Lights?? A good dressing up sense entails right choice of colors too. She may look good but is it an appropriate choice of color for the occasion? It’s a curveball because it’s odd and thats probably the only way to stand out.

  5. Majore love. Great classic look. Not diwali color I would say.
There is something about her face. It looked changed. Not in a negative manner.

  6. She looks amazing and I don’t agree with comments about wearing black on Diwali. It would be odd during Puja or main Diwali day(24th) but for the 10000 Diwali parties these guys go to, black and white is fine and both are beautiful elegant and classic colors.

  7. Adding some color via big drop ruby or emerald earrings would have made the look little festive and colorful. Though she loos classy its too much black and that too for festival event.
