Shimmer And Shine?

Malaika attended a friend’s party last week wearing a Gucci skirt with a metallic bomber jacket, metallic boots and her metallic Saint Laurent bag.
Sure ’tis the season to shimmer and shine but did Ms. Arora shine right? Not quite. Swap that jacket for a plain black one and this would’ve been a much better look. As is, all the different shades is givin’ me a headache.

She could have been spotted from the space
the boots should have been golden with a matching gold- bronze hair band and a sparkly face mask to go with … would have been perfect and a garish gold choker for finishing touches ! come on’ bring on the tacky bling fest !!!
Love the skirt and the shoes. I am sure the look would have elevated with a black jacket but I don’t mind it as it is.
Chocolate wrappers of my childhood found their niche here. Super glad to see such recycling.
On a serious note, I like the pieces separately, Together they look like shiny misery. Each piece has a different tone of shine which didnt get together well at all.
Yeah. The pieces are great individually, not all piled on like this.
I’d have gone with that fab skirt paired with a black scoop-necked bodysuit, slim-stapped black heels and a black crossbody.
This is the kinda look that looks better in person than in pictures.
Burn that jacket! It’s hideous. I can’t picture any look in which that jacket looks good.
