I think we can all agree that Malaika’s appearances for Dolly Ki Doli promotions have been quite remarkably different from her previous ones. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen some really mature and polished looks and here are a few more that we missed.

While in Jaipur, we saw her in a Abraham & Thakore sari that never in a million years we’d have expected from her. Her separates look in a Druv Kapoor jacket/skirt and a Bungalow 8 shirt may have felt a bit déjà-vu-esque but she owned every bit of that look as well.

She also sported two maxi looks while in Mumbai, one a nude Nikhil Thampi and the other a cheery yellow Halston Heritage one.

Got a favorite look of the ones seen here?

  1. The “tacky” is struggling to come out in the Nikhil Thampi…seriously doesnt that pose hurt her back?
All the other outfits (and poses!) – classy and sophisticated.

  2. Loving the saree! Look 2 seems like a leaf straight out of Sonam’s fashion books. Nikhil Thampi’s gown could have been a size bigger and the cheery colour of the Halston Heritage is just fab! So glad she is upping her sartorial game.

  3. She is trying something different and looks great. I hope she keeps it up and not go back to her teenager dressing style . She has such gorgeous face and body. So much potential. Looking very chic here.

  4. I like the first 2 looks a lot (the saree and the skirt with the jacket). Her poses in the other two spoil it for me, but it’s baby steps when it comes to Malaika. If she continues with this roll, she’s going to be giving all the Bollywood fashionista’s a run for their money!

  5. Maneka Harisinghani, has been styling Malaika for the promotions and other current events. Hence the credit should probably go to her over Sonam & gang. Without taking anything away from them of course 🙂
