On The Sets

While taping her television show, Madhuri for the most part continues to stick with traditional wear. Recent episodes had her wearing a Punit Balana sharara one time, and a lehenga by Mishru at another. Of the two, my vote would have to go to the Balana sharara… Loved both the color and silhouette on her; she looked radiant.

    • Agree, very old fashioned and doesnt look very nice on her. Wish she’s go for classy vs massy now that she must have so many choices. Dont know why she insists on sticking to teh Suraj Bharjatya memo even now.

  1. The dress has kinda-sorta entered 2021 but the hair and jewelry is still 1990. Why is it so hard for bollywood stylists to style such pretty women? Maybe I should become a stylist. I would definitely do a better job than this!

  2. She looks beautiful in both. The colour of the sharara is stunning. But both dresses are so repetitive in style that one wishes she had worn something else for a change

  3. Madhuri should try handlooms and traditional weaves. NOT the ones by designers. We have an amazing variety and I just don’t understand why these celebs don’t wear them! At my workplace I see ladies of all ages wear handlooms and look so strikingly pretty and elegant in them. And no, none of have stylists.

  4. The hairstyle is the culprit here, wish they’d try something different.

As Dee says in the comment above, it’s puzzling why stylistsv find it so difficult to dress beautiful women like Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai.

    • I guess because they don’t know what to enhance and what to downplay.. their usual bags of tricks dont work here because these women dont need them… they have perfectly symmertical faces, large eyes, nice shapely noses and chins.. so whatever they do is usually a downer.
