Doing Black

We’ll admit, we were a lil’ surprised to see Mads in a gown (in real life) at the Vogue Beauty Awards. But, it all became clear once we found out that Ms. Dixit is the Aug cover girl of Vogue India, a pic of which you’ll find inside.

Also wearing a v-neck black gown to the same do was Tisca.

We may have picked on Madhuri for her dated desi style but in this case, are siding with her for looking tonz better thanks to the gown. That odd side drape just looked weird on Tisca.

  1. No.No. Mads does not look good especially in the bust area which looks scary. Mads should change her stylist immediately. Somehow of late mads seems to be wearing clothes that is very unflattering to her. Even Sridevi is a busty woman but her stylist chooses the right gowns that does not make her bust look scary.

  2. The cover is absolutely lovely; really, no one can light up a picture with a smile like Mads can. She looks fantastic at the awards too, and the makeup is the best it’s been in a while, but I still maintain that she needs to discover more supportive innerwear. It really will give her appearance the desired lift, no pun intended.

  7. She shines in that simple, classic gown. *So* much better than the ’80s disaster-wear she continues to carry on her. Changing up the hair has made a difference too. Kudos to whoever (finally!) styled her.

  8. Madhuri hasn’t got it right just yet but by God, what a relief to know that she is moving in that direction! A huge relief from her sequinned saris, heavy jewelry, and makeup. Great.
