TV Talk: Part Deux

This week’s JDJ has Madhuri in a burgundy Innana by Monica and Karishma gown. The cross halter-neck gown was worn with a Manish Arora for Amrapali tiger ring and what seemed like Shourouk earrings.

This look was definitely better than her last but with the belt (or is that beading?) being so high, the halter gown made her look very top heavy.

  1. I love Madhuri but this look seems odd on her. I think her designer needs to pay attention to her body type – these are my thoughts including the last look.

  2. In the full length, she is looks shrouded in a tent , ready to topple over and in the close up, completely flat chested and crushed by the fabric. How do you get it so so wrong after decades in the biz?

  3. She is top heavy and this is making it look more pathetic . She should dress according to her body type. When you are top heavy you should wear dark open necks or blazers with a camisole. I hate her dressing sense . She is always stuck in the 90’s.

  4. Liked her so much more in the red saree last week. This makes her look shrouded. And she looks uncomfortable- that is not “The Madhuri” smile in the last two pictures.

Glam it up, Mads, stop listening to the aunties 🙂

  5. A few episodes back I saw madhuri in a crop top and a pencil skirt and I was shocked at how much weight she as lost and how svelte and stunning she looks. This outfit just goes to show how styling and dresses can flatter someone. This gown is lacklustre, boring and adds nothing new but definitely does make madhuri look super top heavy and if i may say saggy(inner wear makes so much of a difference sometimes). I was looking forward to madhuri’s looks as they are style by anaita but this ones such a downer

  6. Its the sort of outfit that evokes the harsh reaction of ‘mutton dressed as lamb’. She looks lovely in Indian wear, wish she would return to that. Everyone doesn’t have to wear gowns n dresses, there is no shame in wearing Indian – especially when you look far better in it.
