I normally hate the hi-low tops, but she looks really good!!
I usually dont like them do. Especially when the difference is so large. But she makes it work. And thank god she dint go with a dated wavy hair do.

What a wonderful to wear high low, without necessarily having to do an anarkali/ dress take on it. The colors are great and it looks so dramtic yet comfy..look at Madhuri- she looks so fashion forward!!
I gotta agree with the others about the high low tops. MD is making this work and I have to say alot of the Oomph is coming from the earrings here. I still think her hair do is a little too auntie, but I won’t complain given this is one of the best looks from her in a while. This sure is different for her and she seems to be comfortable with it!
I think its refreshing to see her in a new hairdo.. i mean no one beats her in ethnic wear and lately she has been donning western formal looks.. this is more of a casual look with an amazing hairstyle.. she makes the simplest of things look good..

I think the “low” portion of the high-low top should have just stopped at her ankles, it grazing the floor makes it look like a cape,which looks odd on her given her short frame, it might have fallen appropriately on a taller person I guess…that or sky high heels would have salvaged the look,not that she doesn’t still stun…so unaffected, so Madhuri…
just wwish she had worn skinny pants instead of this fit.

Maybe it’s just me, but I believe there usually is a huge connection between clothes and body language. And that is the main reason why some people can “pull” off some clothes than others.
In this case, the colors are great but her body language is so restrictive and “closed”. So, I don’t feel the fun vibe that the clothes beg for and that makes this look not work for me. It was the same case with Ash in those leather pants.
Oh well…
i think it’s ridiculous to say that madhuri’s body language is closed. if you’ve seen her dance in the songs of her movies, she has incredible sensuous body language and she’s famous for it. i am really getting tired of all the haters who comment on this site.
