Madhuri attended promotions for her movie in Delhi last week wearing a custom denim saree from Mayyur Girotra featuring an ornate embroidered blouse as well. While I don’t mind the sari and blouse, the skinny pallu draping here did her a big disservice. As one can see, this is a stitched sari so the visible hook was a bit of a turn-off for me.

You know, Aishwarya’s Cannes gown felt like a West Delhi aesthetic? No shade intended.
This also feels like that – like this piece it trying to hard on a personality that does not need try hard. I am not sure the cutting edge fashionista thing works for Madhuri DIxit, who has some much stardom already.
Bad saree. Awful pre drape design . Its so tiring in the eyes and Im not sure if anyone can carry this off nicely . Why cant we just stick to regular drapes . We have a hundred odd sarees – Handloom, Silk , Tussar, Georgette , Chiffon,Organza , Linen blend, Plain cotton . I mean what are the designers and stylists thinking ? These denim sarees and other reimagined ones are so non functional and non versatile . Yuck to say the least

Have you seen the series. Madhuri is phenomenal in it! Madhuri being Madhuri is carrying this off but it definitely isnt my cup of tea.
