Agree, DTPH outfits were pretty awful in the name of “trendy” or “novel”. They also did not suit Madhuri’s body and made her face look dull as well (the makeup is also to blame). I understand they were going for fresh-faced looks but they just did not translate well on screen.

Really? The Dil To Pagal Hai outfits were awful – transparent kurtas over what looked like crop tops. It was the weirdest design
Lol, not to peeps like me who were teens growing up back then. Of course when you look back, you’re like, ugh, this is bad!
They set some fashion standards back then, not awful but sleek in 90s.. look at it now, it’s pretty normal. Kurtas have disappeared.

This style suits her so much !! looks the blouse was altered a bit which I think is a great move.
