Madhuri taped for a festival special this past week wearing a navy and red Gaurang sari. Hair in an updo complete with gajra, her look was finished with a stack of bangles matching her sari colors, a tiny bindi and gold earrings.
She looked lovely.

Hmm I feel like this look ages her. Her last look was really age appropriate and graceful and compared to that I don’t like this look on her at all.
Yeah she does look a little old… But then she is almost 50 😛 So by those standards she looks awesome!
While it is refreshing to see some beautiful Indian silks in the midst of ghastly embroidered/blingy anarkalis and assorted manish malhotras, I feel the super broad border seems to have aged her considerably.
Conventional saree wisdom says that broad borders are for older women, I never agreed with it but I think they might have a point.
She looks gorgeous. The color combo is great and her hair, make up and jewelry are perfect. Graceful and beautiful.
She looks lovely.. ! My mom looked like this when she was 50, and there’s nothing ageing about it.
She definitely doesn’t look 50.
