Madhuri attended the trailer launch of her upcoming series wearing a leather sheath dress. Having seen her non-stop in Indian wear for her TV series, this outing made for a very welcome change. She looked nice. Having said that though, I wish she hadn’t gone the leather route. It bunched up oddly at the waist but that is a very minor gripe.

Wowww a simple black dress, subtle make up, relaxed hair is all it took her to glam herself after all the ott Indian wear! Takes away soooooooo much baggage from her considering the previous looks, pls keep to these styles.
Im in the minority but this doesnt work one tiny bit and is very frumpy, and unnecessarily puts her in an Aunty in Sears zone. Harsh as it sunds – something about the hair/ make up/ shoes/ the fit/ length or all of the above makes it all look very mediocre. Mads should seriousy get a stylist who’ll work with what suits her vs these random picks and awful pleather experiments

Wow! A little harsh and a little too personal. I don’t like the look either but it has nothing to do with Madhuri not being able to pull it off. I don’t know what sears you go to but you will not find a single person looking half as good unless I am totally missing the reference here. I personally don’t like Madhuri in western dresses but that’s my opinion. It has nothing to do with her ability to look good or not.

Not a fan of the leather/faux leather but MD looks amazing! This look is a much needed palate cleanser after all the endless sightings of short skirts/dresses/ripped jeans/bras masquerading as tops. Sure it’s veering on boring territory but when you are talented you don’t need to resort to gimmicks to promote your movie.
LOL because Deepika Padukone isn’t talented? Sure.
Also, great that people like this look but must they criticise every woman who dresses differently in order to praise this?
She looks great waist up and loved that new hair style.
2 things to improve would be the pair of shoes and the fit at the waist.
Ankle strap shoes with a better waist fit would elevate this look so much !

She looks phenomenal. Wanted to see her in something simple and impactful for a long time. And the hair! The hair is everything! MD, pls do not go back to the voluminous lehengas. You look stunning here. Major major love! (choosing to ignore the fit of the dress and the slightly off shoe choice)
