For her collection, Neeta Lulla drew inspiration from the work she’s done spanning two decades. With both western-wear and Indian-wear, Neeta covered a whole gamut of silhouettes. And used in abundance were nets, pleating, crystals and a whole lot of rosettes. A whole lot of rosettes.
We’ve had enough celebrity sightings (in Ms. Lulla’s clothes) to know by now that it’s only a matter of time before we see some of these off-the-runway. Sigh.

The show stopper was the beauteous Bollywood star Sridevi in a sensational silver will-power fish tail gown bringing to end a fantastic show.

Npt bad actually, visually interesting to watch. This show shoulda been called aquatic life or something. reminds me of fishes, and all sorts of underwater beings.
The expressions of the models in the 1st row says it all. and that orange-pink sari is so Shriya Saran ;).

Was Mrs Lulla the designer for Hum Dil De Chuke sanam…….The 3rd lehanga(skirt only) in middle looks like the one Aishwarya wore in NIBUDA song……shorter versions……

“will-power gown”..yeah sure…takes a lot of will power not to throw a chaadar on her to cover Ms.Abominable Mermaid Sri.

Did you see how she herself was dressed? These clothes are heavenly compared to what she was in. Hideous.
Oh GAWD…don’t they have to meet some criteria to be eligible to showcase their collections at such events?
this crystallly/beady/Sequins-ly/shiny/ outfits are soooooooo last decade!

oH mY GODDDD… this is the next horror show coming out of India… every outfit is ghastly!!
did u all know poor Sri…cudnt walk also preperly…she tripped not once but thrice o mayb 4 times while walkin on the ramp in that ugly outfit!!!

She’s has always been out of sync when it comes to western wear and now even her traditional is so very loud, garish and so very very badly designed. Apart from the OTT embellishments, the yesteryear colors somehow just can’t stand the blouses which look straight out of some C-grade sci fi flick.
She should just gracefully retire.
