As fabulous as Lara always looks, we aren’t going to give her a free pass for wearing this dowdy-print maxi. We hope Ms. Dutta is not getting into a printedrut.

P.S. Lara is carrying the Choo Tube clutch and wearing Choo Lance heels in a gold version.

  1. I do not mind the print, what I do not care for is the neckline. I really do not know how anyone would wear something like this in India and be comfortable. I think this dress is not long enough to be worn with high heels.

    • i actully love i…but hey actresses in indian have been weraing deep necklines for a very long time…i mean now we are immune to deep necklines…lolz…i ve seen ppl in real life wear such deep plungling necklines…strange that u mentioned it esps after following hhc…

    • I absolutely agree. There’s no way someone can comfortably wear a neckline like this in India. Everyone stars at you if you wear sleeveless! And this dress needs to be like 2-3 inches longer, it would’ve looks a LOT better!

forget celebs… your average girl is wearing more daring stuff when going for a nite out….
the only thing i dont like is the length… shud be either longer or shorter… in “im not sure…in between” …meh! indeed

  2. I like the way she is looking..the hair, earrings, shoes, dress (and the print is not dawdy, bit too busy)
But the length is something thats a bit odd.. neither here nor there

    • I too like how she looks…nice cleavage, hair, makeup, but the length is off….maybe could have been shorter and more figure hugging?? I just love those shoes….so architectural almost….but wouldn’t know how to walk in them without falling down every step!

  4. I actually like the print and the colour scheme, it goes well with her skin tone but I agree, the dress should be longer. And something about the material doesn’t sit right. It’s not “flowy” enough.

  5. Actually I think she looks great in this outfit. Not everyone could carry it off that’s for sure but she carries it off with poise and elan!

  6. I agree with the 2nd half of comment 1.The only thing wrong with the dress is that it isn’t long enough.Otherwise the print is pretty good.

  7. The length is not right, the hair is not right, the twins need some help, the print and colour is really meh.. almost bordering on ugly.. contrast with the vogue cover-that’s great(and I am not talking abt face/photoshopping but the styling)

  8. I like the maxi and think Lara pulls it off really well, the bust area fits amazingly well, but it’s the length which is causing the problem. Maybe a lill longer maxi and smaller heels will look nice.

  9. what i didnt like is the hair and the makeup ………… this dress deserved a smart look……..this hairstyle is making her look traditional which wasnt required here

  10. I love the print and the color is well suited for indian skin. The only quable I have which many here agree on is, the length of the maxi. A longer length would have been superb. With that length , heels dont sit well. I would have opted for nice sandals, a large tote and fun earings to complete the look. The maxi worn as a evening dress is not working for me.
