Spotted Ms. Manchu in a colorful Satya Paul sari that we had previously seen on Malaika wear on the runway for the label.
We for one love color but, the sari itself is a tad much for us. Lakshmi does wear it very well though.

Lovely sari – although in my opinion, the blouse could have been a little more yellow toned instead of being so orange…. thats just my opinion….
I agree, when i looked at the pic it looked like as if Lakshmi is wearing the blouse of some other saari.

Very colorful saree :-), Dont like the blouse.
The cloth of the blouse & the color/colors of the blouse should have been same as the saree like say a blue & pink blouse.
Her accessories r also too traditional & clash with the moder saree.
Finally! Somebody who knows how to wear a saree without the boob show. I was losing all faith in the future of saree with all the chammak challo looks but Shruthi Hassan and Lakshmi give me some hope.
I cant believe this. For the post from Last year on Malaika wearing the saree, i thought the saree is bad (i commented there too).
And now looking at it on Lakshmi, i love the saree ! Wow ! So much difference the wearer can make. Love the blouse cutting and the colour of the blouse and way the saree is draped.
As zeeniebb says, after all the chammak challo chameli outfits, this is so pleasant and exactly how a saree should be worn.

Totally agree! Wow lakshmi looks so so so good. The sari is not one i ever would have picked but it looks so so good on her! Wow. simple and refreshing! Awesome!
i think dark blue colour blouse would have really looked good (the same blue thats at the bottom after yellow)
Atlast she decided to do justice to her looks, me thinks……….. except for the oily and shiny makeup, she looks so goood her, that can ignore the orange blouse
The blouse is what makes it work. There is plenty of orange in the saree. Its classic Satya Paul styling. Love it on Lakshmi.
