For Kriti, it was a gold Manish Malhotra sari, one that she wore with her hair tied in a sleek bun and gold earrings. I would’ve liked this sari so much more if not for that art and craft sequin border. I want to ignore but I can’t.

Do not like the dinchak glittery saree and utterly dislike the one boob show drape

I don’t care for so much glitter. She does look good though.
I think Bolly ppl read HHC and got our irritation with blingy , bad lehengas so they went ahead and replaced them with blingy, bad barely there sarees!!! On an aside, Rujuta D has tweeted something sensible that how all these weddings are now assembly line with no reference to local /regional culture, customs or cuisine.
She looks lovely in regards to her hair , makeup and minimal jewelry . The saree looks cheap , I think Kriti somehow made it work for her . But saree is bad

With all that money, why cant anyone buy a traditional Indian saree like a kanjeevaram, a paithani or such. Why cant they go classy as well as support our weavers? I am getting designer bling fatigue!
All of them look clones oc each other same bling, same cleavage show….only sVinv grace is that they have figures to sort of carry it off.
Maybe the theme was ’90s chammak challo’ eh?
