Sari Style

During the course of movie promotions recently, Kriti was photographed in saris while at two different events.

For one appearance, she picked an olive-green Abraham & Thakore sari. Wearing her hair in a braid, she rounded out the look with silver jewelry and white sneakers. And while on the sets of a television show, it was a Manish Malhotra sari for her.

The yellow MM sari was just too fussy for me. As much as that color worked for her, much preferred her in the green A&T sari.

P&P is it necessary to fill in name and email every single time we add a comment. It’s so damn annoying !!!
And sometimes the comments doesn’t even gets added is it on purpose ?

  3. She looks like a school kid dressed in a saree dressed for some Independence Day/ Republic Day event at school in the first one. The second one has too many frills, on the pallu, the sleeves. The addition of the belt makes it worse. Is Tarun Tahiliani to blame for this belted saree trend?

  4. When you wrote A&T, I read it as AT&T!! Ad it almost looks like a uniform too!! The MM saree could have worked if the blouse was different!! Amazon and Flipkart carry such sarees for 2k!!

  5. She is looking cool in that green sari. And those sneakers goes well with the sari and overall styling.

The yellow one is too stark for eyes. And that blouse! Hideous!

  6. Cannot decide what’s worse.
The awful olive green saree thats bad enough, and then paired with sneakers that is a complete shame to the wonderful saree.
And then there is the belted rubber ducky. Quacky tacky.
    Bad….twice in a row.

  7. I actually love the olive saree look.. I might not pair it with sneakers because of my height but it is a good and different take on the saree done successfully, IMO!
