The first time we saw Konkona in a similar look, we didn’t mind it so much… maybe because we are suckers for black-orange pairing or because she dressed up her look then! Even then, we wished the pants were narrower and now, we fervently wish it more. Nothing about this works.
And yes, those are her trusty blue beads! 🙂

Totally not working. The beads look nice with the kameez but those bottoms? Noo… overall look is really bad. And she is looking so sick or tired.

the top half looks good cos of the nice necklace. bottom half is terrible.
koko ‘s pjs are so funny reminds me of jail uniform or those shorts that sanjeev kumar wears in the song thande thande pani mein so 70’s

My grandfather (20 years ago) used to wear the exact same bottoms (much shorter though) as underpantsr and also white top (shorter than hers) as under shirt. We used to call his “Lathe waali Chaddi and Baniyan”

Konkona’s truly beautiful. . but why wear such a hideous outfit that hides such a nice body.
She is not beautiful from any angle and she is one of those types who want everyone to think “she doesn’t care what ppl think or spend time on trivial things like fashion and clothing”..but probably ends up spending more time choosing clothes that would make her appear “serious”.. give me a break..

she’s a good actress and usually has an intellectual style of dressing (following in mama’s steps i guess) but here the whole outfit is a total DISASTER. and she looks unwell or something…! d whole no-make up look aint working.
I dont think Konkana’s beautiful. She’s not ugly, but not beautiful. Only beautiful people can carry off looking crazy.. not even then, but they’ll be forgiven a bit more I think.
I dont think there is one definiton of beauty… I think she is beautiful in a very different intelligent way… she is not like her Mom, who is a real Bengali bombshell… but she is different…I think its nice to have women like her, Smita Patil and Shoba De around
she is pretty and has a fiercely independent look about her. I dont want her to dress like everyone else, but it would be nice if she tried a little harder to cultivate a flattring style…

ah – she used to dress even worse in college. sometimes they dont even realise how bad their dress sense is. others would get a stylist. i think she actually thinks she is looking good!!!
We have some actresses who try to look “intellectual”. They know that they can’t be mainstream so tries to be “different”. Probably she too has a stylist who chooses such drab “serious” clothes for her. I don’t know why such ordinary women should always be considered intellectual and pretty ones as dumb.
She is dressed for comfort. The beads are her only concession to fashion. I like it. She looks great!
