We have seen so many ladies wearing different version of the white and gold anarkali in the past year. Which design is your favorite and who looks the best?

Cant decide between Urmila & Lara, but Lara wins with her elegance.

i really like lara’s but it should have bin longer….
Lara and Konkona….love both their ‘easy style’.
May be its the lady or may be I just got a thing for bling bt its Diya fr me all the way!
Though even I’ll admit the golden stripes on the bust seem a bit much, so will swap that portion with Lara’s more understated one 😀
Lara, Konkona (for her casual elegance), both at first place, Dia comes a very close second.
I’ll go with Diya….Lara’s is good too but its a tad shorter…
I actually prefer Konkona’s. I know it is relatively simple, but something about the gold zari in the other ones reduce the overall class of the suit. Next is Lara’s.
lara and konkona but if i had to pick one to wear from all 4 – i’ll take konkona’s.
I would pick Diya…perfect fit, perfect length and perfect pose.
Diya. Lara’s next and the only reason shes nt first is coz im not liking the length too much. A lil longer would’ve looked better…
I loved Konkona’s….simple cotton and gold elegance…reminds me of Kerala sarees.
Dia.. love the bust work and then the work on the kalis.. nice

Diya – definitely with the paisleys at the bottom.
I guess it isn’t really a paisley but love the traditional motif.
Lara then Diya.
Diya then Lara they’re almost a tie but I loved how Diya had the designs down the bottom rather than Lara’s plain one then Konkona maybe and Urmila…the Urmila seemed well abit overdone maybe the jewellery like gold on gold I would keep gold jewellery on the low but Lara seemed to have pulled it off…maybe Urmila should have gone with letting her hair down so she looked less like a dance teacher
Dia, then Lara! Konkona’s is nice and simple, but I don’t like the sleeveless-ness, and Urmila’s just seems a tad overdone (I agree, she does look a bit like a dance teacher :p).
Dia’s kurta length is perfect, but it’s Konkana’s simple one that is perfect. However I’d still prefer the anarkali with sleeves. Urmila’s is very filmy with full-on bling.

lara and diya both look elegant. they both have the height and figure to carry off the anarkali style. there’s absolutely nothing wrong with konkona’s and urmila’s figure but unfortunately one needs to be thin and tall to carry off any anarkali outfit. it’s a very unforgiving style.
Dia’s cud’ve been perfect… without some gold… I love how the dress is emphasizing her perfect waist… Urmila got it OTT!

Konkana – simple, beutiful, elegant and yet very sultry.
Diya then Lara. I never thought I’d like the anarkali style but damn, these ladies make it look sooo good!
Lara carries it off beautifully.. Urmila’s is more Wtheyy for me.. Dia’s is slightly excessive at the bottom and loses marks for that.. and konkana shows how it can look causal and classy.
dia’s all the way, feel in love with it the first time i saw her wear it on that chak de show with srk for the indian and pakistani cricketers.
the length is perfect and makes her look very slim and tall, and the fitting around the waist area is good too.
the heavy stripes on the top is nice and can always be hidden a bit with the dupatta for people who don’t like the fuss, depending on how you wear it.
Lara cud hv won hands down but she lost fr 2 reasons……
1.d length f d kurta nt appropriate fr churidaar…..or she shud hv worn a “mojri” instead!!
2.Many ppl wear wrongly stiched churidaar, it is supposed 2 cover ur ankles till mid f ur heel…. dere is too much f heel showin here fr a perfect churidaar!!
So Dia wins!!! 🙂
Lara’s, by far the most elegant. BUT the length should have been longer (maybe its the angle of the photograph?) now, v.important: WHERE DO I GET ONE OF THESE???

Love Diya’s outfit!! She dresses soo good!! She is definitely one of the most stylish lady from Indian Film Industry. I rarely see her look bad. Lara is another stylish lady n looking so pretty in her outfit. She looks gorgeous all the time! Love it!
wow, this is a tough one. All four look so good. To me Urmila comes in the bottom. A close tie between Lara and Dia and Konkana just surprised me here.

Lara looks Fab.. i would go for Lara’s anarkali and Diya’s kurta length… Diya’s sandals are too much for the dress..

Everything about Lara’s outfit is just wrong, wrong, wrong. Whoever her darzi is, she needs to fire him pronto. You call that a kalidar kameez?
The only one who comes closest to the classical kalidar kameez and churidar is Urmila. The length is perfect, the kameez is actually in a lovely angarakha style and the churis on her churidar are perfect.
Just look at the ones on Lara’s churdar – they don’t even fall right – a sign of poor tailoring.
Legions of Lucknowi karigars would be turning in their graves if they could hear the oohs and aahs over Lara’s shoddy ensemble.
But yeah, carry on I guess.
Hard to say, I like all of them. But I really like Urmila’s and Konkana’s.
