Sari Style

For their respective events, the ladies kept it simple in their respective saris. While it’s a look we’ve seen on Konkona before, Kalki’s appearance sure made for a change. Between Konkona and Kalki, have a favorite?

  1. Konkona’s sleeve cut is odd. Kalki’s whole look is great and I am happy she has draped it well. Usually something too much to ask for nowadays.

    • You took the words off my keyboard, Paroma 🙂
Kalki’s sari is lacklustre, Konkona, despite the sleeve issues, looks wonderful and owns her look. I lauw eet!

  2. Kalki wins this one, although I prefer Konkona’s sari. Konkona is at ease in her saris, but the saris always seem so bunched up and traumatized, like she’s busy and needs the pallu out of the way. Also have to say don’t like Konkona’s taste in purses. This striped one looks like a go-green grocery shopping bag – quite awful.

  3. Kalki looks groomed, sleekly accessorized in the sari. Looks great.
Although sari and blouse are good, Konkona does not carry it well.
Reasons, color not flattering to her skintone.
Drape very messy, and the bag belongs more in a hippie chic outfit than this more formal get-up. So, despite having it all, Konkona misses the mark.

  4. I have a serious problem with all these ladies pallus. Please someone teach these ladies how a Palllu should be worn. Eventhough much better than yesterday’s shilpa shetty pallu these two could have worn better

    • Hehe. Agreed. She doesn’t even drape it proper for the most part. And yeah even this so called “simplicity” is becoming a yawn fest.
