Khushi wore a sequin sari from Manish Malhotra to wear to the Merchant-Ambani sangeet. I do not like the sari one bit but I do like Khushi’s styling here. Neck up she looked great.
On an aside, Mr. Malhotra did an ad promoting AI and now am beginning to think this sari and just about all the designs we are seeing today are a by product of it. They are different and yet so generic.

Does anyone remember, the first wedding organized by Ranveer and Anushka’s characters in Band Baaja Baraat?? They wanted to make that event “Janakpuri Chaap” and sourced the exact fabric as this sari in neon hues to drape at the venue…. so much so for *designer* saris
Uggh this looks like the cheap china silk fabric sourced from blingy back drops at shows. Why do celebrities wear these nonsensical and tacky outfits that make them look really bad, major head scratch. I dont like the heavy stuffy make up and hair either, and jewelry that “heavily” ages her. Its like the real Jhaanvi inside is itching to escape out!
the amount of plastic sequins used in these designer clothes , for this wedding worries me, manish Malhotra is not just bad for eyes but also to environment …and what happens these clothes after this wedding ?… lot of them are custom made aswell….
So much money and not sure why so many Bollywood folks sport Manish Malhotra’s Sarees. I am not even sure how one drapes this sequiny/ scratchy stuff? Are these readymade Sarees?
