While she goes for dress-less look for the cover, Kerry wears two Manish Arora dresses for her shoot in the upcoming L.A. Times Magazine.

Love the hair!

    • I think the 2nd dress could do well at an event too. I think a lot of his outfits are great for fun events. Love his style. I feel Phalguni Shane are a little more over the top compared to Manish Arora. Sometimes, their designs seem to be influenced by Manish’s IMO.

  1. Absolutely love the outfit 2 and 4, both on the model as well as the outfit per se. This is what I would love for Deepika to experiment with; loose flowing hair, some whimsy, and lot of fun. It is so lovely on the eye and different. The actresses today with their stick straight hair and usual accoutrements look so boring. I would love to Shruti hasan experiment these outfits as well.

  2. Love! esp, the the blue cutout top. Although Manish’s designs are way OTT for me, I am glad an Indian designer is making the headlines across the world, and that he does not resort to plagiarism. truly talented, although unaffordable and pretty much unwearable for daily use.

  3. I don’t ‘get’ Manish’s designs.. 2nd dress – wadrobe malfunction waiting to happen if you aren’t careful!
Infact the Nicki Minaj gold ribcage outfit was voted the worst dress of the AMA awards!!

  4. Gosh womens fashion is DYING for a soft, romantic and natural look.

These days all you see is hard edged geometry in little frocks.

In more OTT versions, studded with even harder industrial objects.

An alternative is to put an entire nation’s jewel collection on it.

If Indian dress, repeat above mantra and also make sure outfit is a colour requiring eye protection one level above that for the sun.

Result: 80s Laura Ashley you are forgiven-come back.
