In See By Chloe

At a press meet in Kolkata, Katrina was spotted in a floral See By Chloe dress that she paired with simple sandals and a headband. She also wore a dress with sandals the previous night (see inside) to a bash hosted by Hrithik Roshan and while I didn’t like the dress or the sandals from that event, this look I quite like (even though this pic isn’t the best one, but shows the dress). You?

  1. While i like her in the chloe dress, i think i like her more in the other look.. Its a very simple and cute look, definitely works for her!!!!

  2. the chloe dress is rather too BRIGHT for my taste .. but kat pulls it off quite well.. the key to wearing such a pop of colors is to keep it simple! the thong sandals are perfect!

The white baby-doll dress is cute too but not event – appropriate… it reminds me of bright sunny afternoons by the sea.. not an evening bash.. not feeling it, kat!

  3. Nope, both dresses are a miss. The floral dress is just eye searingly ugly and the white dress is too baby doll for someone with her body type – makes her look big and ungainly.

BTW, those shoes are not flattering to her feet.

  4. she is looking like a DOLL 🙂
she is damn cute and such clothes surely goes with her personality …. and I feel its fine for an evening to wear a simple dress …….. bored of Aishwarya’s sarees with bikini blouse or Priyanka’s shortttt dresses …….. basically I am bored of Bollywood gals ……. Even though they go right sometimes , I still feel they should experiment more and not just follow fashion formulas …….. So full points to Kat for trying something new 🙂

    • THAT’S WHAT I WAS GOING TO SAY (the doll part…in the Chloe dress )!
I’ve never been a fan of her personality, but she does have a very cute face- and her working the doll thing is nice, she could possibly develop an actual style
LOVE the dress and the cheek-shine (although the lips are a bit much) the HAIR…she should keep her hair like that, in that color, always

      • Yes, the doll-style lol does work for her very very much so.. and little less that she’s attempted has worked so it would be a positive thing to work on this and develop it.. but it’s not going to happen, she clearly likes to experiment when at events and doesn’t put allot of though into the experimentations.. so, yeah.. hm.

          • On second thought, I take some of what I said above back.

I think it would be too much of a good thing, plus, she doesn’t have the aesthetic to pull it off off-screen.. so maybe not.

On top of which, I also agree with someone below saying it may be too much to dress this way in your twenties all the time.

I guess so and I guess not at the same time because it can be pulled of but then you require allot of know-how, confidence and a definitive style.

  5. She can’t carry it off vry well. Plus these kind of dress’s will only look good on teenage girls. Not on grown UP Ladies.
It looks like she is trying too hard to look young.

  6. god that is a ghastly floral dress..I dont get it. They earn so much money , have the best stylist and designers at their disposal and they turn up looking like this. White dress would have looked cute on a thinner women. I am not saying she is needs to loose weight (she is gorgeous). However she is big boned and should dress accordingly. Her being chosen by mattel for barbie still surprises me.

  8. I like both the looks… a lot! She looks so pretty and feminine! Though I may never wear the floral dress myself, I think she looks gorgeous in it!

  9. I love it…. bright and happy…. not the best pic but i like the look.
I guess Katrina is comfortable wearing a lot of flats given her height.

    • I think the first dress is a pretty pop of color too!

I’ve noticed Katrina wearing a lot of flats lately also. Earlier she seemed to not care if she was too tall in her heels. I wonder what’s going on now? For tall girls to wear heels, low heels or flats is always a worry 🙂

      • Agree, most times it’s more of a woman being too uncomfortable about being too tall
I think she should look 7 feet tall if she wants to 😉

  10. the dress is pretty but very outdoor-ish. I’d rather see this on her when she’s out on the streets, grabbing some Joe… shopping on a sunny day(not night) . With a hobo and big sunglasses. get the picture?
Not for a press meet….Nay! It looks GAUDY in the dark indoors on a leather couch… Yuck! stickin out like a sore thumb :))

  12. So maybe I am in a minority, but I simply love, love the Chloe dress and how she wears it-She always has such a serene smile on her face. Love the sandals in the second photo-not the dress

  13. THE DRESS IS REALLY CUTE- SHE LOOKS DECENT FOR A CHANGE TO THE USUAL INDIAN ACTRESSES WHO DRESS GHASTLY, AND ITS BETTER THAN WHAT 3/4 OF THE INDIAN DESIGNERS DESIGN!

  14. Isn’t this look very similar to Deepika’s (in a Gayatri Khanna) posted on HHC, August 19th, 2008 (ya i actually searched for it 😛 ) – busy print, colours, headband & all?

also remember on some occasion, Deepika wore that dress without the tights and similar thong sandals like Kat’s got on here.
