  1. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with peek-a-boo frills. A lot of the Indian outfits have very slight frill on the dupattas and they actually look decent and classy and not over the top.

Back to the picture – The frill works for Mahima’s dress but not so much for Katrina’s. It just looks like she picked up her dress to high and the lining is showing.

  2. i dont know if its the next big thing or not.. but it definetly is not the first time the frill thing is used.. maybe in the indian fashion scene it seems recent, but if u look at the collections of international designers like Marc jacobs and Chanel etc.. the frill is often used.. it may not be the best thing but it sure does add a new dimension to the dress… dosent it… the above dresses would’ve looked the usual boring if it was’nt for the frill….

  3. These are two ugly gowns. Katrina looks really bad – tacky dress, ugly shoes and the diamonds are not highlighted. Nakshatra should have stuck with Aishwarya or gone with someone who has some old world elegance.

  4. well…
    frills ARE in, aren’t they?
and since I’m having a poofy phase (don’t worry- in a good way) I like the frills
more than the dresses, and the accessories etc.

  6. Saw Kat’s dress on television and it looked okay.. or maybe I need to get my eyesight checked.. here, it really looks too short for her and very cheaply made..
