It was a Manish Malhotra lehenga for Katrina while at a recent awards event. Wearing her hair to the side,she rounded out the look with nude-ish make-up and understated jewelry.
We suspect the outfit looked better in person than it photographed. Regardless, Katrina fared better with all that monotone than most others would’ve; she looked nice. That said, the minimalist styling did seem at odds with the lehenga!
Also, that Anamika Khanna-esque dupatta drape reminded us of this appearance of hers where she went the opposite route and served up some serious color.

This looks so one note and beige… her outfit matches her skin which matches her makeup.
….which matches her attitude!
While she looks pretty, the outfit has just far too much bling. Hair and make-up looks pretty good though.
She looks good neck up, but the rest of the look is terrible. Horrible outfit, and not well styled at all.
So wish she would add some crazy fun lip tint here.. like purple, mauve..
Ya a bright lip wud have made it lively.
I know!!! Not just this tie, she always leaves me begging for bright or dark lips.

I don’t think anyone could have salvaged this lehenga. It looks like one of the rejected costumes from the bole chudiyaan song from K3G.
Can she ever get a better makeup and hair look? Same old makeup, same old hair. The extra fabric under the embroidery on blouse is bothering too.

She’s got height, beauty, perfect body and beautiful hair and I so wish she would start taking risk, come get out of her comfort zone and experiment.
Definitely would look great in a different avatar.
