In Ashi Studio
Katrina wore a high-low dress featuring a taffetta train from Ashi Studio to the Vogue Women Of The Year Awards. Just when you thought she was changing it up, Ms. Kaif went right back to her safe zone (read: red dress, straight hair and simple makeup).
Can’t say I was impressed. Were you?

Don’t care much about styling here, she looks gorgeous
Being safe or staying in one’s comfort zone is sometimes better than taking risks and looking stupid, which is very often the case with a lot of Bollywood celebrities.
She looks beautiful, happy, and confident.
Agreed – how can Sunny Leone in the tacktastic Swapnil Shinde be “hella good” and this one a “not impressed”…for Ms Kaif – make up is on point, fitting of the dress is on point, shoes are on point…then why “not impressed”?
It’s a frumpy gown.. way too much red. Kind of engulfing her.
Oh, c’mon, Payal! Katrina looks phenomenal here. If one is looking THIS good what’s the point of changing it up just for the sake of change?
That’s a ridiculous dress design.
The gown looks bad… red n hair are still ok. Ashitha studio outfits somehow look dull n lack finishing
I imagine this with red lips and a super high ponytail and some more exciting shoes and already love it more. Come on Kat, give us something
But how can you make perfect better? Why change for the sake of change… I love katrina for finding her style aesthetic and then sticking to it.. Always well turned out.
Sometimes playing safe is good rather than trying too hard, changing it up and looking comical!!!
…and what’s wrong with safe choices ? If something looks good, then it’s good. Why be critical of this ?
Karishma nine times out of ten will wear something black in a classical style and is applauded for her elegant style. Katrina wears a red dress with her hair down and is accused of playing it safe. Why the different standard? And I say this as someone who is not particularly fond of Katrina or of the dress she’s wearing here.
(I’m not knocking Karishma; I think that she’s usually well-dressed – though a bit predictable).
