Sari Style

Karisma attended Navratri celebrations hosted by a jewellery brand in Trissur wearing a yellow benarasi sari from Shanti Banaras with gold jewellery and a yellow embroidered potli. No complaints. She looked lovely.

  1. I have a complaint with the makeup and the foundation especially – it looks heavy handed, dry and a different color than her arm and chest. Pity.

  2. KK is always polished and well turned out. But – maybe an unpopular opinion here – the turmeric/mango yellow spectrum is a colour for duskier women.

  3. I don’t like the sighting at all and I’m probably the minority here. That color or that particular shade of yellow doesn’t look very nice on her and the makeup is is sort of cakey and too Stark and in your face

    • I hear you. I didn’t fall in love with the look the moment I saw it and that too without reading the comments. Along with all that you have mentioned, I also feel like the blouse doesn’t look sharply tailored (the sleeve near the elbow and from the armpit). Yes, the drape is great on the chest but something about the blouse is not very crisp. Pic 3 – her face looks like what it would look like if they made a wax statue of her.

  4. Karisma is always a class apart, so elegant and wearing Day 4 colour of Navratri is such a thoughtful gesture as she rarely wears colours. Her Hmu is simple and classy. Love
