Barring the difference in the border of the salwars kameez, is there a version you prefer? Raveena’s or Karishma’s?

  1. Love Karishma’s version. The without border version is elongating the suit length. I don’t even mind the transparent sleeves but the transparent churidar is a bit too much.

  2. Well not a fan of both the colours.Though karishma looks a only a tad bit better as hers is in a softer white.but honestly both these suits remind me of 1970’s mujra songs featuring aruna irani or bindu.I guess Raveena has some problem with her feet otherwise why will she choose such ortho looking shoes again and again.

  4. Karisma look great as usual.
Like her white version pertect indian outfit for a celebration. Also like transparent long sleeves on dresses, but not transparent curidaar.

  5. Karishma looks gorgeous.. her outfit is pretty and it falls on her so well. Didnt like the black one though. Somehow makesraveena look bulky..

  6. i like both versions..and i don’t think there’s anything wrong with Raveena’s shoes..as someone who has flat feet, i don’t think women need to endure pain on their feet in order to look attractive..

  7. @sonal – So true! If this dress was in red, it would have made a perfect mujra outfit.
The white version is wayyy better than the black, though.

  8. Black is a colour that can look tacky very easily.. unfortunately the patterns or the design is just off.. the white version looks pretty..

  10. P&P – Technical question.
When you say ‘Barring the difference in the border of the salwars” are you talking about the border of their salwars (which we can’t see in the photos above) or the borders of the kameez??

Sorry, I’m just picky when it comes to fashion reporting.

  11. Anu*,
I meant kameez. Always keep mixing the two, like I always mix up labeling Kareena and Karishma!

    Thanks for pointing that out!

  12. I love Raveena’s color, but Karishma’s is cleaner, so she looks more put together…although the white and the pattern is a bit dated looking…nonetheless, Karishma will take this one.
