Kareena was spotted grabbing dinner with her friends wearing a black kurta and pants set with sneakers, a beaded mala type necklace and her Hermès Constance bag. Now, the sneakers combo I know is a comfort choice but still looks a wee bit odd to me.

Eww! Why sneakers? Kolapuris, mules, ballet flats…so many equally comfortable options options.
I think the sneakers are a very cool addition and lend a certain normalcy and irreverence to the outfit and situation.
It also is very Kareena and aligns with her personal slightly tomboyish preppy style.
