In Dhruv Kapoor

For taping her radio show, Kareena picked Dhruv Kapoor to wear. With her hair pulled back in to a top knot, she rounded out her look with smokey eyes, gold-toned earrings and pair of chunky black sandals. Like the look on her?

  1. This is such a disconnected look. Don’t like the jacket at all. The hairdo and kohled eyes doesn’t work for the dress+jacket. Kareena can do better.
And don’t even get me started with the chunky heels. I just fail to understand what good do people find in chunky sandals,see-through sandals. Then we also have chunky heels that don’t have back straps. The most recent is those god awful Chanel( I guess a lot of other brands too) slip-ons that look like crocs. The worst part? Everyone seems to hop on every bandwagon that the west brings.

    • Comfort maybe? Chunky heels are more comfortable than pencil heels…not all sandals are made alike but they offer good balance. If you want to wear heels but not pencil, what are the options out there?
Platforms also look bad (Vidya Balan/Kajol’s footwear collection for example)

Not criticizing you comment but genuinely curious..
Crocs are terrible looking and butt of all jokes but they are comfortable beyond words..like birkenstocks. Ever tried on one? I was an instant convert after thinking why people wear such fugly sandals for so long.

      • You’re so right about Birkinstocks and block heels. And Let’s not forget the lady is pregnant and balance & comfort is probably more a priority than the ‘chunkiness’ of the footwear. Kareena isn’t one to hop on bandwagons (not kareena or her PR here- purely on an observation through her looks on this very blog) and those shoes don’t look like blindly following a trend. They’re carefully chosen to be ‘least’ chunky (because of the strappy style) while giving a semblance of coverage and balance.

I am surprised the point of putting herself at risk in this stage of pregnancy

  2. This reminds me of my pregnancies. Your priorities are so completely different from the standard dressing protocol! And you still feel like the prettiest lady in the room!

  3. Hmm…totally Chindhi!…take all leftover pieces and make a jacket. Repurpose…..great! But to sell it as a designer piece at whooping price is a whole different ball game.

  4. To be frank everything they wear now doesn’t go beyond their personalities that were bought to light during the pandemic. Sorry but I am trying.
