Recent round of movie promotions had Kareena suiting up in a grey Peter Do suit at one event, and Nisse denim separates at another.
The outfits made for an interesting choice… I wouldn’t have pegged either of them quite as Kareena’s style. In fact, her stylist’s (Rhea Kapoor) name was written all over them and honestly, Rhea should’ve just kept these for herself and picked something else altogether for her client. As striking as she looked neck-up, Kareena couldn’t sell either of these looks to us.

Kareena was doing just fine and then she met Rhea Kapoor . She’s been looking ridiculous
Ha ha. The excess length of the suit and pants!! Belt up she looks good.
With a different pants this would have looked good.
Why would anyone want Rhea for a stylist? Her own style is awkward at best and embarrassing at worst. Now it’s being wrecked on others. Kareena was looking great in the last few sightings but this is just a sorry excuse for a style.

I would say the 1st one is closer to Gabbar Singh in Sholay and the 2nd one is indeed Dharmendra.. You made my day… I laughed so much, had tears running down my cheeks!!
Rhea Kapoor is obsessed with androgynous fashion which is fine but she fails to execute it on herself and the people she styles (except for some very early Sonam appearances).
Kareena should stick with Tanya.
The problem with calling oneself a “stylist” is that all you need is a “vision” and a sense of “style”. And yes, it is a creative field so lots of room for subjectivity, which I completely respect. While there is an admittedly vague standard to being able to be dubbed a stylist, at the very least, it requires that the person, even if they have a particular aesthetic (and I use that term very very loosely here), are thinking about their client’s own style, figure, and comfort level in mind,. These outfits clearly put the person who composed them into the “dresser” vs “stylist” category. And that is saying something because when styling Kareena, it would seem tremendously difficult to do a bad. Yet, here we are seeing it, on repeat.

Those shoes are hideous in the first outfit and why do all coats/blazers and tops need to do that peekaboo to show cleavage. Why cant anything be elegant for rhea. She ruined her pretty face too.
