It was Manish Malhotra for Kareena at two of the Alia-Ranbir wedding festivities. She first wore a lehenga to the mehendi on Wednesday evening and then a pink sari on Thursday. She looked great in the lehenga. As for the sari, I wasn’t a fan of the maang tikka. Wish she’d skipped it.

I prefer her in the saree. Maang tikka is okay… it’s her brother’s wedding and we have seen Bollywood go OTT at a colleagues’ reception!

My take’s just the opposite 🙂 don’t care for the lehenga but actually like her in the saree, tho these spangly horrors are not my thing at all.
I never thought a day would come that I would find Manish Malhotra clothes refreshing but here we are , thanks to overexposure of Sabyasachi clothes. Kareena on other hand looks gorgeous minus that mangtikka

I like the saree look minus the thing crawling on her head. The lehenga is the usual run of the mill stuff.
She looks lovely in the saree , although I wish Bollywood would choose other designers at this point beside MM
I didnt lke the lehenga. It looks very early 2000 piya piya style. And looks too bulky.
The pink saree is gorgeous, plus one to the shouldve skipped the maang tikka. Just a a simple bindi instead would have elevated the look a lot more. And just personally, I dont get the flashy maang tikkas worn by anyone other than the bride in a wedding. Something subtle is fine but these OTT maang tikkas is very in your face “look at me”..
She looks resplendent in the saree look, maang tikka included. It’s a family wedding. So no gripe there.
Just noticed that she heavily favors pink/pink accents for weddings of her close ones and even her own. Case in point – Soha’s wedding. When the video of her coming out the door in that pink saree surfaced, I immediately had a Soha wedding déjà vu. The lehenga has pink accents and is sparkly just like the one at Soha’s wedding. The pink outfit at Sonam’s, pink accents at Karisma’s and the pink at her own reception. It is her color though. Looks great on her always.
Don’t care for the MM lehenga. Dreading the truckloads of bling coming our way from the MM factory for through the guests at the Alia-Ranbir reception. :-/
This wedding has had classy looks from all the guests. Loved what Neetu Ji and Soni ji were wearing.
I like the saree too! Really nice and appropriate for a summer, day, family wedding.

I love her lehenga, its quite different, looks a bit more modern rather than the usual overly traditional stuff we see..and she looks like a princess
