Sari Style

While on the sets of a television show to promote her upcoming movie, Kangana was photographed in a floral-print sari. Wearing her hair in a retro-inspired do, the actor finished out the look with her multi-strand pearl necklace.

Given the sheer sari, wish the petticoat was longer… It would’ve just seemed more polished. But that didn’t take away from the fact that Kangana looked lovely.

  1. I was waiting for you guys to post this one.
She looks totally royal! I didn’t notice the petticoat thing til you guys mentioned it.
Love everything about it including the slight retro vibe with the pearls and hair.
Wish people would dress like this more in real life – simple and elegant.

    • The local bazaar? Pretty sure you could find at least 20 shades in at least 10 different materials of this exact print.
The ‘brand’ aside, Kangna looks as amazing as ever! She has this 70s charm about her.

  2. I am glad she doesn’t go for those cookie-cutter, chewed and flimsy Manish Malhotra sarees that often that others in the Bollywood seem to favour. So lovely she looks in the saree she is wearing. What a svelte figure!

  3. I want that blouse! Its so simple and matches that saree so well.
These saris were all the rage 30 yrs ago. I need to raid my Moms closet now…

  4. She looks lovely. That said I am surprised she/ her stylist did not pay attention to the petticoat. In my opinion it brings down the otherwise wonderful look by few notches 🙁

  5. Firstly she needs a silk or a satin fitted full lengthpetticoat for this chiffon and ideally it should match the colour of the blouse. Thats such a basic thing to be missed by the stylist. The effect of a cheap ready made petticoat on an expensive chiffon is jarring to say the least.Secondly the fall is too wide and too stiff. A not quite from me.

  6. she looks great and i love the saree. However, that fall is an eyesore. It either needed to be not as stiff or about 1/4 as wide. Can’t look past the fall. The petticoat choice is unfortunate as well. Big fail by stylist.
