Wearing a blue sari with a traditional temple necklace, Kangana visited Ganesh Chathurti celebrations over the weekend.

As gorgeous as she looked, I for one, think the occasion could’ve used a different blouse. A more covered up sleeved one. And just like that, I just turned into my mother!

  1. I agree with you here. The sari is lovely. I wish that the blouse was a little bit more covered up or maybe even in sleeveless it could’ve been less deep.

    • Its not about her being comfortable with her body or not. She could wear a bikini or shorts and it would also show that she is comfortable with her body. But would it be culture/event appropriate? No.

I think its just about being mindful of the event that you are going to and the culture that revolves around that. Not that she looks vulgar and bad or anything ofcourse.

Wow I sound 22 going on 60 hahahah

  3. This styling doesn’t look bad on kangana. Though, I agree, not everyone can carry this off in a pooja place. Kudos to her for using temple jewellery! I love when some one does ethnic so well.

  4. Beautiful deep blue saree n thin lil border. loving it. And blouse is perfect i dont see any problem there..
a full sleeves blouse and half boob show drape is what called as inappropriate, not this.
the only thing i would change is that neck piece. no matter how gorgeous it is, its too big for the ensemble..

  5. Some people look inappropriate, tacky even with a more covered up blouse. Whereas some- for eg- Kangana here- look appropriately dressed even with some skin showing.

  6. It’s a lovely outfit! I remember dressing up for a traditional event with really low cut blouses to piss off my granny.

The last line of your comment totally brought that moment back 😀

  7. God made boobies (except the ‘Kuerig’ ones, those come from the devil’s workshop) and from all the comics I read, all the gods had apsaras shaking their titties around them. It’s cool. For all you know, God gets mad when you hide his work of art.

  8. I get the must-be-event-appropriate thing but just don’t find anything wrong with this particular look/set of pics – she’s worn a sari, a sleeveless blouse, nothing is vulgar or over the top here.
