In Manav Gangwani

Am on the fence about Kangana’s look in this Manav Gangwani green gown. The empire-waist makes her look tall and statuesque but in the close-up pic, her makeup and hair looks so worn out. Blame it on the weather?

P.S. Those earrings look lovely which makes me wish all the more that she had pulled back the hair.

  1. Atleast it’s better than that green sari she wore recently…… the gown looks good but the hair is too big plus she looks very tired……. and those earrigns are to die for!! love them, probably the best part of the whole look……

  2. She tends to copy the looks of a lot of international celebs. The earrings for are a ditto of the ones Juliianne Moore wore on the Golden Globes this year. Other than that, it really doesnt work for me.

    • Whoa…I dont know what part of my brain was sleeping during this message, what I meant to say was her earrings for example are an exact copy of Julianne Moore’s from the Golden Globes.

  3. I love it. Its such a pretty color and so graceful on her, I just hope people dont ruin it with cheap ‘nanga’ comments about the neckline

  4. I never like Kangana’s look
but for once, I am in love with it.
The hair kind of gave her a little bit more carefree look whereas the dress brings her back to the red carpet.
    I like. 🙂

  5. I prefer the version on the model with the gold top – except for the black band, that is.
I agree with you about Kangana’s make up though.

    • Yea I prefer the model’s version without the black band too. I don’t like the shade of bluish/green Kangana’s wearing. And the poor girl just looks so tired …

  6. you are right about the hair.
maybe its a cultural thing but Indians love their long tresses… and most of the times cant think beyond long flowy hair.
glad dia, lara, preity etc kind of broke the trend.

  7. Haha, love how there’s a random Louis Vuitton speedy lying on the floor in a corner, as if one of the celebs just decided that they didn’t like it anymore and flung it at the crowd. sigh. is this how bored anu dewan is with her collection? (jk, jk).

i like the dress, the hair is alright. maybe the close up is just a bad photo, because i can’t imagine kangana going out looking like that.

  8. i dont like the color, nothing to do with her really, the shimmery material in this color looks sorta cheap, the gold and dark green dress on the model looks better.

Dont like Manav Gangvani’s dresses so much, they dont look very sophisticated, just my opinion.

  10. I like the version of the dress that Kangana is wearing. She does look a little tired but she looks great I think. I like her hair, accessories and all.

  11. I have to say that Colombo weather is very humid causing hair to become frizzy. That probably explains everyone’s hair looking ‘big’.

  12. Wow… thats a beautiful blue green metallic color. She is looking lovely. Love the hair too, its making her face look so feminine and soft.

    • No. She looks graceful and feminine, in my opinion. Why are some people on this site fixated with a little bit of leg or cleavage showing, when the overall look is not crass?
